I have been researching the Ventura’s, my husband’s family, for a little while. That is exactly the town they are from in Sicily, Caccamo. My husband’s great-grandfather was George Ventura (Giovanni) who was married to Nicasia “Ruth N” Perna. They are both buried in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
They did emigrate to the U.S. in 1902, to Kansas City.
Please send me an e-mail so we can compare notes in more detail. I do have more information and would love to know more.
