Hi Robin! At first I thought you were my sister-in-law, who is Robin as well, but she's in Pittsburgh!
As far back as I have gone on my husband's side is Adorno and Antoinette Brandi Ventura, who came from Italy. One of the pieces of documentation that I have says that they came from Asculi (?) in Italy, but so far I have had no luck finding out where that is.
Those were the parents of my father-in-law, Ronald John Ventura, who was the youngest of I think five children. I'll have to get the list of them and send them later. My father-in-law still resides in Pittsburgh.
Are your ancestors from Italy? I know there are some Venturas from the Philippines as well.
