My Great Aunt Josefa Vega was probably born in 1905 and or early 1900's. So although the dates might coincide it would not be your G-Grandmother because I know Josefa's married in my grandfather's hometown and lived there all her life.
Do you know where your G-Grandfather Gen. Manuel met Josefa? The reason I am saying is because all of my G-Grandfather's brothers with the exception of Maria Vega, Josefa Vega, and Arcadio Vega migrated north to Reynosa, Tamualipas and one of them I believe Jesus Vega went to live to Baja in the area of La Paz si bien recuerdo.
Arcadio Vega also lived up north, but then came back to south to settle in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
I do not know the names of their sons or daughters though. But Josefa is a common name in our family. If you're G-Grandfather was a General in the revolution he could of met your G-Grandmother anywhere in the norther region of Mexico including Reynosa tamaulipas.
I have read some postings were I see many Vega's were from el fuerte Sinaloa though. Keep in touch we will see what we can find out. Do you know any other relatives from your G-Grandmother Josefa Vega?
Let me know.
