Veatch family origins

People of this time were living under hard times. The countries were constantly being envaded by the Norman's, Picts, Vikings, Romans, etc. People migrated to good lands for farming or hunting. People learned at home, things they needed. Not reading and writing. Some moved on to Austria, "Veitsh", some went to Germany or The Neatherlands, "Veit or Veith". I would like anyone's opinion.
