Listing in WeV, Vol. I and II...nothing in III. Jeremiah Veatch, son of Daniel and Dorcas Veatch b. about Dec. 1759, near the Little Monacacy, in then Frederick County, Maryland. Very long write up in Vol. I of military service in the Revolutionary War. Pension claim made in Jesssamine Co., Ky on Oct. 31, 1833. He died Jan. 13, 1836 in Woodford Co., KY. He married, Priscilla, July 18, 1782 in Pennsylvania. She was born Feb. 14, 1767. Died Feb. 13, 1857 in Jessemine Co.,KY. Her maiden name was Wilson. Jeremiah had a prayer book with more info in Vol. I. They had 6 children. Ann "Nancy" Veatch married Thos. Hughes April 8, 1801. Both died before 1853. A daughter, Sarah K. Hughes married ______ Garrison. Thos. Hughes parents are listed asJoseph and Sarah (Swan) Hughes.
