Hi! I do not have a ton of info for you, but have come to find that Laird John Vaiche married Janet Stuart on October 29, 1576. Janet was born and lived in the famous Traquair house. I do know that there second son was named Malcom, and that when John died he was to give the farm to William (I am assuming his first son). Malcom's My side of the Veach family also lived in the Dawyck Estate, but I do not believe we are related in any way.

Also if this may help you, John Vaiche was his original name and adopted the name "Veitch" form of spelling, then the rest of the family followed suit.
