Hi Mike,
I read some of your entries on the Vauses and was very interested. I descend from the group thast came out of NC into the Darlington/Sumter Co. area of SC. Part of this group went on to Fla. I assume you have seen the reference to "old Ephraim", the one with the fort in Va. marrying Theodocia Hulings in the church in Phila.? The Hulings were from NJ. Do you think that maybe the Ephraim Vause family were part of the large group of Palitinate Germans who came into PA and down into VA before the Revolution? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
