A teenage girl by the name of Savannah Moore was orphaned in Clendenin, WV in 1944. She had one full sister, Anna Bell, and one full brother, George. Her mother had a previous marriage with a son, John Farris, and two daughters, Elizabeth Farris Salisbury, and Pauline Farris Gillispie.
Savannah was likely taken in (adopted ?) by a family whose last name was believed to be Vaught. Some of her family believe she might have married the Vaught's son, whose name might have been Sammy. At least one family member believed he saw her many years later on a street in Logan, WV, but by the time he made it tio where she had been, he couldn't find her.
If still living, this woman would be about 80 years old now, and family haven't seen or heard from her and have no idea whether or not she is still living.
