In reference to a Roland Vaughan, I posted the following some weeks ago: Rebecca Goodwin born c. 1775? in Newberry or Kershaw & died 1822 daughter of John and Ruth Goodwin married a Vaughan. They had children Roland, Cynthia, Micajah Vaughan. John Goodwin family was in Newberry in 1790 and in Kershaw in 1800 and John died in 1809 naming his 11 children. They lived near White Oak Creek just outside Camden. William ODaniel lived bordering their property and the Kilgore Cemetery was close by. I would appreciate hearing from anyone in the Vaughan family. I did find Rebecca Vaughan on census in Kershaw County in 1820, but I have not found out who she married. I also do not know if this is the one you are seeking. Hope it helps and let me know if you find out more. I found the probate record which did not give much information, the inventory and the children listed.
