Peter Jackson Vassar Jr is my ggg grandfather and I don't believe he was married to a Eliza. I have him in 1885 in Richardson Co NE living with my gg grandfather Samuel Vassar(son of Peter Jackson JR) and his wife Fanny Vassar (2nd cousins through Nicholas S Vassar whos father was Samuel Jenkins Vassar). No Eliza living with them. If he was married to her where is she? The Vassar book also has Samuel as never marrying. Wrong. And his brother George as dying in 1903 but he died in 1928 in Dickinson Co KS. George married 2nd Fanny Vassar's sister Elizabeth. Elizabeth had been married to a James W Kessinger who she divoriced. Fanny and Elizabeth were born in Brown Co KS.
I have death certificates on Samuel, Nicholas and other of Nicholas and Sams children.
I have not found Peter Jackson Jr buried in Richardson Co NE but there is Vassar buried in Harris Cem. on paper but not with a stone.
