I am a direct descendent of Raymond VESSIERE and have a pretty complete family tree with him at the root. LaRose was his wife's name which was used in the Spanish tradition. It later reverted to other spellings of Vessiere. As far as I know, we have no connection to Charles Wesley Vassar other than the Arkansas Post. Raymond Vessiere moved to the Arkansas Post sometime in the 18th century.... his first child, a son, was born there....there are descendents in Gillett, AR at present.
