I don't know if this is any help - I am descended from Bathshua Hering, daughter of Julines Hering, but I am also descended from Julines Hering through his great granddaughter Elizabeth Vassall. Elizabeth Vassall had two aunts, Ithamar (called Tamar)and Bathshua Vassall possibly called after their great aunts Bathshua and Tamar Hering? Anyway for what it's worth Bathshua and Ithamar Hering were from Stepney, London, England and Jamaica, West Indies and also had connections with Dorset, England. The line goes:
Nathaniel Hering b 1610 d 1678 buried St Clement Danes, London m Elizabeth Cocxcroft, their son Julines Hering settled in Jamaica d there 1689 m Anne, their daughter Anne Maria m Florentius Vassall of Jamaica, grandson of Smauel Vassal MP of London, their son Florentius Vassall m Mary Foster, d of Colonel Foster, their son Richard of Jamaica m Mary Clarke of New York, Elixabeth my ancestor.
