--SUMNER, JETHRO. Autograph letter signed to Philip Vass in Harrisburg; Camp Salisbury, 16 July 1781, " one page, small folio, verso with address panel and marked "Public Service," " informing Vass that he is "under the necessity of desiring you to Barrel me two or three Hundred weight of Bacon without fail... by the first waggon..." adding that "I expect you not to fail me by any excuse whatever..."
