Posted by: James Voss (ID *****2391) Date: July 22, 2006 at 07:07:57   of 620 The following notice appeared in the 2 October 1832 edition of the newspaper called the "Richmond Enquirer," page 2: Died at Virginia penitentiar in the past 6 months Philip E. Vass. A Philip E. Vass of Halifax County, VA left a last will and testament dated 8 Aug 1831. It appears he died in 1832. I believe he was the son of Philip Vass who died in Halifax.
