According to the Land Commission records of Dorchester County, Maryland, James Vaulx was deposed between 10 Nov 1741 and 16 Feb 1742 and stated that he was about 75 years old, so he was born about 1666/67.
Sarah Vaulx of Dorchester was deposed between 12 Nov 1745 and 11 Nov 1747 and stated she was about 50 years old, so she was born about 1695/97. She also mentioned her deceased husband James Vaulx. Given the disparity in age between James and Sarah, it is possible James had a previous wife.
