Essex Order Book #30 (1784-1787), p. 214 notes that on the motion of HENRY VASS, a certificate was granted him for obtaining letters of administration on the estate of WILLIAM VASS deceased with Smith Young his security. The court also ordered that James Evans, Wiliam Brooke, Clar. Sanders and Thomas Boughton appraise the estate of WILLIAM VASS. Was WILLIAM VASS a son of HENRY VASS?
