In the book "Vass and Allied Families," by Alvin Anderson, there is a xerox copy of a biography of William Worrell Vass taken from the "Biographical History of North Carolina," Vol. VI, pp.495-500. This biography states on p.496 that Thomas Vass, a Baptist minister who served Grassy Creek Baptist Church in Granville, County in the late 1700s and early 1800s, was born in King and Queen County, VA ca. 1738. This biography also states that this Thomas Vass married in King and Queen a daughter of Thomas Foster, by whom he had four children: John, Vincent, Frances, and Thomas Jr.
Can anyone tell me if this biography provides sources for this Vass information.
