Re: Richard VARNES. From Pennsylvania, settled Johnson Co.,KS (Olathe) late 1800s/early 1900s, died 1930s. Anybody know where in PA
he came from, who parents were, who brothers and sisters were, any other info about him? He is buried in Olathe,KS Cemetary. One of his sons survives, viz. Geo.L. Varnes of Indpls, IN, said to be in his late 80s or
early 90s. I am descended from Valentine Varntz thru his son Isaac, thru Isaac's son Mitchel, and thru Mitchel's son (my grandfather) John Peter Sheets Varnes. My father was Henry Clay Varnes (b.5-17-1898,d.4-1977. Descendants of Mitchel's bro.Ezra Doty Varnes reside in central IL-Peoria, Farmington, Canton, & Carthage. Just
