Clint

Let me stand corrected on Mary Ann, the woman whom was married to my Grandfather several times removed was not Mary Ann, it was E.Jane V. I do have several instances of this soundcode or phonetic derivative that come out of the Venable's-Woodson-Hite-Admire-James roots. I will see about posting that this week on here! I will find the link that also explains the main reasons for surname alterations after the Civil. Give me a bit and I will get another post to you. I currently have a 4yr old for the summer 24/7 so Im geetting alot done.........smile!

Best Wishes

Mike V
