Looking for information on Stephen Simonson Vanzile born 7-21-1817 NewYork (possible Cayuga); married Nancy Winsor Smith 5-9-1839 in Deerfield, Tioga Co. PA. Children: Gilbert Smith, George, Rhoda Isabel, Anna Winsor. In 1840 and 1850 they were living in Westfield, Tioga, PA; in 1860 he was working as a carpenter in Vassar, Tuscola, MI. At age 44 he enlisted in 29th Michigan and died of disease in Dec. 1864 in Indiana. Any information on siblings or parents would be greatly appreciated.
