Hi There Darin. We just celebrated moms 91st birthday Nov 21st. Her name is Edna Veale but her maiden name is Van Wie. Mom has a dutch book and also has a family tree chart (would you believe it is four feet high and four feet wide) that traces back all the relatives to 1641 when Hendrick Van Wie came over here on a Dutch ship (I forget the name of the ship). He paid his passage with four beaver pelts and was a roof thatcher. Settled on Albany river on Van Wie point. Original foundation still there, sons home still there I guess. Uncle Dougie went to see it before he died. I will save this site and next time I go by mom will look for Magdalena. Mom is the last of the six Van Wie kids. LInda
