Lockridge Herald Lockridge, Jefferson Co, IA Friday, February 18, 1916 OBITUARY Alva E. Dorman passed away suddenly at his home at [left blank]. Mr. Dorman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dorman and was born at Marion, Iowa, Sept. 18, 1868. For twelve years the family lived in Kansas and in 1902 moved to this city where they have since made their home. Besides his mother who resides in the city, he is survived by two half brothers and one half sister: Bert VanTassel of Ottumwa, Walter VanTassel of Keokuk and Mrs. Bessie Frakes of Glendale. On Dec. 18, 1913 at Columbus Junction he was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Worley who is left to mourn his loss. He has been an efficient employee of the Louden Machinery Company. A number of years ago he was united with the Baptist church and was also affiliated with the Woodmen of the World. Many friends will extend sympathy to the sorrowing family at this time.
