Catherine and Johannes van Tassell

Hi,
Just found out that I have van Tassell ancestors. What I have been trying to find out this evening though are Johannes and Catherine van Tassell siblings of Abraham and Elizabeth Yerks? Johannes is, but I haven't seen the two of them as siblings. I have an ancestor, Amos Ackerman Brown, son of Tha(y)les and Angeline van Tassell Brown. Angeline's father is Johannes, son of Abraham and Elizabeth. I have always wondered where Ackerman came from. Through the help of a wonderful lady, i found the van Tassell connection. Catherine van Tassell is Amos Ackerman's mother. She married a James D. Ackerman. Just wondering if someone can confirm that Johannes and Catherine are siblings.
