Lamport O. Van Slyke Wedding Certificate 1899

A friend found a beautiful wedding certificate and when I saw the name Van Slyke as the groom I remarked to my friend that I have Van Slyke genealogy. Any help would be appreciated.
The certificate is 19" X 15" published by Curts and Jennings, Cincinnati,Ohio The certificate is pre-printed and the blanks are filled in with very fancy penmanship. Lamport's name is very fancy so it may be Lamfort or ?? So, this is what is on the certificate. It's
Lamport O. VanSlyke of Howell County, Missouri and Miss Laura M. Bixby of Kansas City, Kansas
Were By Me United in Holy Matrimony According to the Ordinance of God and the Laws of the State of Missouri On the Twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord 1899
at the home of Brides sister Mrs. N. McDonald.

Witness: Jesse M. Morgan and Mary W. Wilton
Pastor: J.L. Nations M.E. Church
On the back of the certificate it says: Marriage license of Mrs. Mildred Lavern (Van Slyke)Merritts parents.
