Hi Kathy: I checked out that book today, and there was only one Lawrence listed. It was a Rev. Benj. Lawrence. The Episcopal Methodist cemetery,stated that a child of Rev. Benj. Lawrence was one of the first person interred there.
I also checked out Lawrence in "Ancaster Heritage".There was a Daniel born in 1746.
A George One of the 1st owner of Lot 12 Con.2 He also was granted Lot 13 by the crown in 1798. [died 1848]
A John who reg. for Crown Patten for lot 18.Con.1
A Orange Lawrence who married Sarah House, this fellow was the founder of Orangeville. A Peter Swartz who married Rachel Lawrence 1813-1889.
