I think William Ray and William Roy are the same person. I have William Roy death listed as December 5, 1948 (www.interment.net/data/us/id/latah/viola_cemetery.htm), and that he died in Potlatch, Idaho (www.rootsweb.com/~idgenweb/deaths/50.TXT). Almost my entire Vansickle information came from the LDS website, www.familysearch.org. I would like, if it is possible, is to get the information from his obituary. The name was spelled Van Sickle not Vansickle? As you may know, that can make a big difference in searching this name.

I also think that Roy Carlton Vansickle (born 1884) may be the brother of Fred Vansickle (born 1881) only because of their ages. They are both listed in the WWI Draft Registration. Roy lived in Latah County, and Fred in Nez Perce. The registration does not list where they were born.

Thanks for the info!
