Hi Carol,

I have the family of Lambert Vansickle in my database. He was the son of Isaac Vansickle and Deborah (unknown maiden name). THere were a lot of Vansickles in Warren/Sussex Co., NJ during the late 1700s and early 1800s. One of Lambert's sisters was a Rachel Vansickle who married Mordecai Willson (whose family came to Ontario from Sussex Co., NJ). I am wondering if you know who the parents of this Isaac Vansickle are? I have an estimated birthdate of 1777 in NJ.

There was an Isaac Vansickle in Warren CO., NJ who bought land from the Parks family in about 1864. Do you have any idea whether this could be the same Isaac or his son Isaac Jr.? I have also found the entry on Ancestry.com regarding Isaac Axford marrying Ann Axford with an est. DOB of 1840. The Axford family also traveled from NJ to Ontario in the late 1700s or early 1800s. The Axfords and Parks family were related.
