Thomas VanSickle m. Anna Barber MN/SD/IA

In Reply to: Thomas Van Sickle m. Anna Barker by Abby Brown of 1585

I found that I was given some wrong info, but have now been corrected. I do have some more names and such on Anna, suchas her last name is Barber rather than Barker, and I have her parents and grandparents. Thomas was not born in W. Virginia, but in Strawberry Point, Clayton Co., IA. I think he related to the early Van Sickle settlers of Clayton County, but I have not found the link yet, because I have yet to find his parents. He died sometime in the early 60's. Some names I remember fromthe article I read on the early Va Sickle settlers of Clayton County are Moses Van Sickle and Thomas Van SIckle. I think they arrived around 1834, and they would be either great or just grandparents or grand uncles of Thomas. If you have any info or think you do and need more of what I have, (I am at work right now and do not have my research on me), email me at ovation_diva@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
Abby Brown
