i am looking for info on michael vansickle born in orange ny,lived in adrian mi then in chicago il. . this is what i know: michael was born approx 1860 in ny to daniel(b-1840 ny-d-1926 seneca mi) and malvina(maiden name warns b-1843 possibly in mi or ohio and d-1884 seneca mi) daniel's parents were michael (b-1791 nj-d-1888 seneca mi) and harriet wyant(b-?-ny-d-?-?). the younger michael also had 1 brother edwin (b-1868-d-either 1940 according to headstone or in 1956 according to the obit and married mary (?) 11/17/1900 in seneca mi). michael also had four sisters: 1)cora- born-1865 2)francis l.born-1867 mar. james wilcox 9-10 -1889 in seneca mi 3)edith a.-born-1871- mar mr. terry of seneca mi 4)carrie e. born 1874 mar- ralph vansckle 1-30-1896 in seneca mi and died 12-26-1938. i need to find out what happened to michael! he married my g-g-g-g aunt-josephine epple inadrian mi jan 9,1883 and moved to chicago within two years. they had two sons-arthur and fred- i know fred was married twice, but have no idea to whom, nor any birh or death dates. they seem to have dropped off the face of the earth! all of michaels family are buried here in mi in packard cemetary in seneca(some even lived out of state and were brought back to be buried-but not my michael). michael and josephine also had a summer cottage in pretty lake (plymouth) indiana if that helps. if anyone can help with this elusive branch i would be very grateful!
