My information is from the family bible and the research of an uncle.
The bible belonged to the Mother of Rebekah Furman[Vansyckle'so it is her brother, James Furman, who is listed as Married to Jemima , their son, Samuel Furman is listed in the bible as born February [?] 16th in the year of our lord 1779. the rest of their children are recorded as:
Mary 11-11-1777
Sarah Furman 6-13,1781
Elizabeth 1-1-1783
Levi 3-9-1785
Sarah 6-13-[rest is not there, only the word, "the"]
The bible is then used to record the Rynier Vansyckel. Sorry for the confusion,
