Hi Chris, Good to hear from you. My Great Great Grandfather was born in 1812 NJ and Died 1874 Oakland Ca. I asked my library to borrow the book"A History of the Van Sickle Family in the US" by John Waddell Van Sickle.
I found He was born 1807 and he and Sarah had 2 sons Albert and William and possible 3 daughters. Adeline who married Eugene Trefethen 1874 and Sarah. I have newspaper articles which mention a Mrs Pliny Bartlett as a sisterinlaw of Albert my Great Grandfather, There was also an Emma Van Sickle. The book said there was no further information about the family, this was in 1880 when the book was published.
There were other Rensallear's but not directly in my line. If you would like I can send you what I have of my ancestors.
