Gene Van Sickle did a valuable job in putting forth the bits and pieces of various Van Sickle genealogies. My only criticism of his work, was the fact that he confused "Sickle" with "Sicily" he had the family coming from Southern Italy. His forceful confustion of these two words, left everyone agast at his thinking. But if you are very selective in going through the work, you can pick out the truth, and leave the utter nonsense of some of his personal conclusions behind. I have charted this work, and have it available if anyone is inetested.
