Hi Norma,

I found something today that I'm not sure if you have seen, so I thought I'd pass it along to you.

From the book, "Lucas Genealogy", by AnnaBelle Kemp, 1964, page 411:

When Henry Van Meter went to purchase land in Mason Co. Va (now W. Va) he states in his will that his son Absolom accompanied him as well as Zachariah Vansickles and Anthony Vansickles (the son of Zachariah)...

(page 418)...Henry Van Meter, 11th child of Henry Van Meter, Sr. and his wife Margaret Moore, was b 1767, went to Mason County, Va about 1800 and settled on land granted to him by his father's will; mar Christina Van Sickles, sister of Capt Anthony Van Sickles.

According to this book, your belief is correct that Christina and Anthony are the children of Zachariah.

I was wondering if you could tell me a bit more about Zachariah? I have a few by that name in my file. I just want to make sure I link up the right one.
