Hi Norma,
Not sure if I ever spoke with you before.
I'm interested in your Vansickles in PA, in that time frame.
I have a Jane Rosebrugh that was supposed to have married a Mr. Turner and left Ontario, to move to PA in approx. 1804 - 1814. She was also supposed to have been the mother to my Peter Vansickle, born in Jerseyville in 1814...father listed as being Peter Vansickle.
I have been looking for records for this Jane and her Mr. Turner husband, but think now I have been looking for the wrong name. I should be looking for a Vansickle in PA. I think my Jane must have remarried to Peter Vansickle and removed to PA, sometime in those years, to work on another family members farm. They were said to have died in a fire. Somehow, Peter jr. ended up back in Jerseyville to grow up.
Would you have any info. on this family in your Vansickle line?
Thanks for any help with this dead end.
