I'm of no relation, but I saw your message and did some research.I haven't been able to find anything regarding Emma Van Sickle's ancestry, but there are three different family trees posted at Ancestry.com with Emma listed as Emma Van Sicklen.
I was also able to find Emma in the 1900 Census (New York, Ulster County, 9 Ward Kingston, Page 23.It is a difficult census to read, but her name was listed as Emily, and her birthdate was October 1865.Emma was already married to Ira Jones (she answered she and Ira had been married for four years), and she said that she had six children, one of whom had died.
Please contact me if you need more information from the census, including the children's ages. Her children were listed as Maud, Harry, Mabel, Alvin and David, but I do believe this is the family you're looking for.
