Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Anna -- I don't have the answers to your questions. I am looking for siblings or parents of May VAN SICKLE, b. Ireland, who married Simon McDONALD, b. Ireland, and moved to Oakland County, Michigan, by 1850. Their daughter, Mary McDonald (b. 11 Nov. 1850, Pontiac, MI) is my g-g-g-g grandmother. You can tuck this note away and perhaps there's a connection along the line.
