VAN SCYOC in IA, MO, ARK 1840-1930's

I am searching for information on a family of Van Scyoc (various spellings possible) who were in Fremont Counyt, IA in the late 1840-1860's.

They are listed on the Fremont Co. 1850 census under the name SCHYHOCK with the first name being "A.V." which I believe probably includes the "Van" part. On that census they are listed as a farming family:
"A.V." SCHYHOCK, age 42 b. in VA
Sarah Ann age 24 b. in VA
Margaret age 3 b. in IA
Franklin age 6 mo. b. in IA

The Franklin is the ancestor I am searching. He married a Lucinda Oakley and later divorced from her. He did have a son named James who married an Elizabeth MENOR in KC,MO. in 1902.

James and Elizabeth ended up in northwest Arkansas.

Any information would be appreciated.
