If your Asbury Van Scyoc was born about 1823, I may have quite a bit more info about his ancestors. I have an Asbury R. VanSchaick married to Sarah Farley (born 1825), but I only know of 1 child - Mary. There is alot more info available on www.vanschaickfamily.com, and I would appreciate any info you might have about Asbury & Mary's descendants. The descendants of Cornelis Aertsen VanSchaick were very good at changing the spelling of the last name.
