Cornelis Aertszen and Belitje Hendrickse

It has been established that this couple are the beginning of the Van Schaick family in America. However, I have the parents of the same names for a Pieter Cornelissen Breyandt. Are they the same ones, or entirely different parents. If so, wonder why Pieter Cornelissen adopted the surname of Breyhandt where the rest adopted Van Schaick.
