Dear Adam, regret I have nothing more to shed on the Muckey/Van Nest information. At the time we were trying to see if that John C. Muckey was our line. We then learned of our line in Cumberland County, PA and that John had married a Rachel Martin and my husband's immediate line was born 1818 in Cumberland County, PA then m. Elizabeth Van KIRK and their son was born 1818. He was married by 1840's and they were in Illinois by 1850. So unless your near by counties in New Jersey can share some light how the Law name became connected, I have no suggestons. Appreciate you contacting me, even if I have no new information. Sincerely, Charlotte
