Jeronimus Van Nest was born in New Jersey in 1765 but grew up in Rensselaer Co. NY. He enlisted as a soldier 1781 and served nine months with the Revolutionary Forces. After some years in Saratoga, Montgomery and Jefferson Counties, he spent his last years in Monroe Co. near Rochester NY. Looking for names of family members in addition to his wife Mary Quackenbush and daughter Maria.
