Howard ~ Other notes I have list 3 Van Leuven men in the 1790 census of Ulster County NY: Andrew (p.108 Line 251), John (p.109 Line 259)and Martin (p.109, Line 260). Also on that page is James Welsh/Welch - perhaps someone in my ancestry. I also recall reading that Lucius V L was "a breeder of fine horses." In History of Oakland County Michigan, Van Leuven is listed in the index of Vol. 2; also check the Gratiot County MI history. I'm able to read and search that book from home through my library's Heritage Quest subscription. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll give it a try. Kathy
