I don't have the specific Miller you mentioned in my file, but can tell you there were numerous Van Curens, Van Kurens, Van Keurens(same family, different spelling) in Michigan.Perhaps if I had a little more info on the Van Curen(sic) you are looking for.The name "Van Curen" is a corruption of "Van Keuren"(created in 1716, Kingston, New York), which, in turn, was a corruption of the original "van Ceulen"(also spelled van Keulen), which literally means "of Cologne", referring to the family's point of origin.If your Van Curen can be positively identified, I should be able to fill in the ancestry back to the 1500s.
