Don't know if this will ever get to you or not.
I am also a son of Mitchel VanHoose, my mother and him met when his mom was in Columbus, he was in the Army.
the names you listed are in fact the names i remember except for Verla which he never spoke to me about. But yes Pauline as i recalled he was still Married to when he died But seperated and she had a Daughter from him. He Died at the age of 53 had a few Heart attacks and i was there when he had his last one in Front of me. Something that will never leave me..
