Franklin Van Hook - Wisconsin Civil War Soldier

I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is Franklin Van Hook. He enlisted 21 Aug 1862 at Darlington, Lafayette co., WI. He d. 10 Mar 1863 at Memphis, TN - disease.


This is all the information we have. If you can help us fill in any of =
our blanks we would be grateful.

The format we are using is as follows: (We have his service record)

Son of (Names of both parents, their dates/place of birth & death & =
burial: marriage date and=20
place(s) of residence.
Siblings:(Include spouses but not birth/death dates or their children)

Date/place of marriage (duplicate for multiple marriages)

Daughter of: (Names of both parents, their dates/place of birth & death =

Residence and occupation:
Post-war achievements: Include membership in organizations, offices =
held, church affiliation, etc.
Pension record:
Date/place of death
Burial

We are also including letters and photo, If you have any you would be =
willing to share that would be wonderful.
