Lawrence Van Hook Sr. was alive until 1801. He was listed in the 1800 Caswell County Census. The inventory of his estate was recorded in the July Session of Court, 1801.
His parents were probably Aaron Van Hook and Catherine Balk. Aaron's parents Laurens Van Hook and Johanna.
The only marriage record I can find on your Catherine is recorded in the Mormon IGI.
