The report that JohnGrubb the Immigrant did not marry Frances Vane...the only Frances Vane in the new world in the late 1600s is absurd. We are not relying on Judge Grubbs expertise, but on professionals that have mulled this over for a hundred years. I cannot go into all the reasons why this latest "newly found" info is as much conjecture as any old records, but I do know that the "finders" of this new info are assuming far too much and then castigating others for assuming anything. PS Many Quakers were former nobility. DMY
