Hi I am looking for information on Charles Monroe VanDyne b.11-28-1845/46 Oh d. 7-2/4-1913 I have a artical about his death I beleive it was in North Manchester,IN paper he was a father of 12/13 children. Artical said he was on a plank it broke it was 15 feet high He fell on his head and broke his neck while picking cherries. he grew up in Ohio till he became a young man then moved to Huntignton then about 8 yrs ago he moved to Fairmount and from there he moved to this city having lived here 7 yrs. He was united in marriage 4 times. 1st marriage 5 children, Rose, Louie, Elizabeth, Pearl, 2nd time 3 children 2 of whom survided Julia,Minnie, 3rd time no children 4th time 4 children, Bessie, Bertha, Clara, and Hazel. He also survide by his wife and 2 brothers Henry, and John. He was burried in Roanoke,IN. The artical is a copy and hard to read. To this day one of his daughters I do know for sure is living she is my grandmother inlaw and she was adopted out. Can anyone help me on this one. Would just like to know what he was like, and or see a picture of what he looked like and maybe find out if there is family still living. Thanks Tina email me
