Dear Researchers,
I'm trying to identify a Mr. Vandine.
Thomas Forsythe of Fayette Co, PA, in his will dated 1807, mentions his daughter Elizabeth, married to a Vandine.
Elizabeth was born about 1778. I've seen speculation they went to Davis Co, IA (where one of her brothers did live), and she supposedly died there 21 May 1867 (so about age 89).
I've also seen claims they were buried in the Glassburner Cemetery, Marion Twp, Davis Co, IA, but I've reviewed those cemetery records and don't see mention of any VanDine/Dyne buried in there.
Nor have I been able to locate this couple in any of the census records for PA or IA.
