Rachel md. George Vandine/Vanduyn [what ever] b. [a guess
bc1814 d. pr.to 1850 unknown where he was born or died].
George & Rachel had [known] children - Asa,Mary Ann,Jemina
Jane, & Maria.
From an old e-mail Jun,1999 from Rill & Ramona BALL
"First let me tell you that Elizabeth REASONER was my great
grandmother & Lloyd REASONER was my great-grandfather.
Elizabeth VanDyne md. Lloyd REASONER 28 Oct,1836 Henry Co IN. Information states Lloyd REASONER d. of yellow fever in Arkansas 1850 [but no proof has been found]. We believe
that after Lloyd's death Elizabeth married ----- HOAGLAND
We believe that two of Lloyd & Elizabeth's children were
Mary Jane REASONER & Jemina Ann REASONER. Mary Jane 1st married Wm. MIlton WAGLEY & 2nd to George Brittain BALL.
William & Mary had a son Loyd who was about 3 yrs old when
they [his parents] divorced [thats when Mary md. George BALL]. My grandfather grew up in the BALL household & over
the yrs took the name BALL. I am a 3rd generation w/ the BALL name, but have no BALL blood.
Elizabeth lived with George & Mary [BALL]in this county &
in several written documents to State Agencies stated that
she had known George for over 40 yrs. We have found Mary's & George's graves & they are buried about 7 miles from our
home. Elizabeth census records & also Mary & Jamina's reflect the correct birth place for both Elizabeth & Lloyd.
Mary Jane & Jemina stated that they were born in Missouri
[we haven't found the location yet] Mary on her marriage
certf. lister her name as "HOAGLAND" but corrected it the next day. Both Mary & Jemina were married in Red River Co,TX........... "
